The Charles Ann
The Charles Ann is a 38 foot Bullet ideally suited to sea angling in Orcadian waters. Fitted with a 350hp turbo-charged engine, the Charles-Ann is capable of cruising speeds in excess of 16knots enabling anglers to get to varied fishing grounds within minutes of departure. Fully equipped with Radar, GPS, State of the art plotter and sounder, the Charles-Ann is also licensed to carry 12 persons up to 60 miles offshore.

With its long range licence and fast cruising speed the Charles-Ann is the ideal boat for any angler wishing to base themselves in Kirkwall. Fishing on both the Eastern and Western Sides of the Orkney Islands is possible and can provide excellent varied catches.

The Charles-Ann is also equipped with full galley and sea toilet.

Harvey Groat
The Charles-Ann is operated by Shapinsay Islander Harvey Groat. Harvey is an experienced sea angling skipper with excellent knowledge of the surrounding waters. Harvey will be able to direct you to marks where specific fish lie and provide advice on how to catch them whether you are a novice or experienced angler. Harvey is also a member of the National Federation of Charter Skippers.

In order to make you cruise an enjoyable one, Harvey provides tea and coffee as well as biscuits on board.

Fishing Holidays
